Dr. Bob Matson is President of QuantiScientifics, LLC. The company is involved in the development of multiplexed assays for life science and diagnostics.  Previously, Bob was a member of the Advanced Technology Center at Beckman Coulter Inc. for 17 years. Dr. Matson is an inventor on 18 patents involving nucleic acid and protein technologies. He was inducted into Beckman Coulter’s Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006; was elected a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (FAACC) in 2008; and is the 2014 Distinguished Alumnus, College of Science & Technology, Western Washington University.  He is the author of numerous peer reviewed papers, book chapters, and 3 books, including  Applying Genomic and Proteomic Microarray Technology in Drug Discovery-2nd Edition (CRC Press, 2013); and guest editor for Current Opinion in Chemical Biology: Arrays (2014, Vol. 18).  Dr. Matson is consulting senior scientist (Scienion AG) and Technical Officer, Cellgen Diagnostics.
